The number of individual ‘connected’, i.e. internet enabled, devices is estimated to reach 30 billion by 2030. Connected is in inverted commas there, because this vast network is actually a fragmented ecosystem, where the true connectivity is limited by manufacturer, operating system or platform. 

Enter Pairpoint, a blend of SIM and Blockchain technology, creating the potential for every internet enabled device to connect with any other, across networks and ecosystems. This seemingly simple capability can have profound consequences. Our brand identity aims to bring this exciting potential to life.

The Exponential Seed

We named the business ‘Pairpoint’ – a helpfully and deliberately descriptive name for a technology that’s both nascent and difficult to comprehend. Then, inspired by the dandelion’s ability to disperse widely and take root anywhere, a visual system that tells the story of devices becoming connected – in the widest sense of the word. At the heart of it all is a symbol that mirrors the behaviour of the technology; spreading and connecting, creating new life.

Growing all the time

Pairpoint’s new identity has been designed with the future in mind, extending far beyond the digital and physical marketing materials into potential digital and OOH environments. It has the ability to show up proudly in environments where the brand needs volume and presence, as well as take a back seat in data visualisation and UI. We’re excited to watch it grow.
