Talkspace
Make sense of it
Mental health is a journey, one that looks different for each person. Where it was once seen as something to be addressed only in moments of crisis, today it is finally being recognised as something requiring regular, habitual, ‘maintenance’. Talkspace has been at the forefront of this cultural shift, shaping the narrative of what mental healthcare is, who it is for—and how to access it. Together, we’re building a brand that proudly reinforces the role they play at both a personal and structural level.
The clue isn’t in the name
We pushed away from many of the obvious tropes of the sector, avoiding speech bubbles in favour of distinctive assets, behaviours and techniques that reflect a therapeutic journey towards clarity. An adaptable ‘T’ motif sits at the heart of it all, subtly shifting and morphing whilst unifying the visual language in different contexts.
Working closely with internal teams, we brought to life the visual system across the full digital ecosystem. In marketing contexts it is expressive and dynamic, using motion, variable typography and bold art direction to stand out. In the product our work plays a more recessive role – small touches that act as a reminder, not a distraction. All supporting a brand and experience that could – and should – be part of daily life.
